Company aims to cater to globaldesign work from India.
Egis, a well-known international group in the construction engineeringand mobility services sectors, has announced the opening up of adesign centre in Gurgaon, India, that would cater to the Group’s internationalbusinesses. The design centre will get the opportunity to work for globalprojects, to get the best of training and skill development on thebest-in-class projects located outside of India as well. Apart from Egis’s inPoland-based design centre, this would be the company’s first ever design centrein Asia and second in the world.
Says Laurent Germain, CEO, Egis Group, who wason a visit to the country, “Today, we can proudly say that since the time weentered the India market, almost 25 years ago, up to this day, we havediversified our order books, from roads and highways to include other sectors,such as railways, aviation, urban, buildings, water and ports. Major push has been given to health infrastructure, water supply,rail, road, airways, waterways and urban infrastructures, etc. All this bearstestimony to the fact that how important it is for us to work in the country.”
