In matters of wireless communication, the construction industry faces two challenges:
a) It takes up to four months to get the operating license. And, if it is a road project, the project itself is complete by the time permission arrives.
b) The coverage distance of the Walkie Talkies is not enough. Thermal power projects, railway tunnelling, irrigation, water lift project and large format industries find walkie talkies not operating beyond the range of 3-4 km. Signal inside the control rooms and in confined areas is also not available. To cover these ‘blind spots’, repeaters and signal boosters need to be bought.

TalkPRO has now solved this problem faced by the construction industry by introducing two new products:
TalkPRO LF866: This works on license free band of 866 Mhz with a coverage distance of 2.0 Km in open area. It is best suited for toll gates, medium-sized projects, tower cranes, container operations, etc. Talk time of two days is available with a 2600mAh Li-ion battery.
TalkPRO ND1 (non display) and Talkpro D1 (display model): These have unlimited coverage distance.

These work wherever 3G coverage is available. Offices, factories and construction sites can be connected over any distance. Customer can easily add or delete, or change users from talk groups.
These two models have already found a willing market in Malaysia, South America, China and Europe. Moreover, the user need not apply for permission from the government or pay annual fees towards license and royalty. The radios are supplied in pre-activated condition.

TalkPRO offers free replacement warranty for one year on all of its products. The radios conform to MIL STD 810 C, D, E and F and are rated IP54. Iconet being one of oldest radio companies in the country with over 28 years experience, it has supplied more than 300,000 radios to the Government and the private commercial industry.
