Chakan, Pune, 24September 2025: HD HyundaiConstruction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. today launched its all-new 20T SmartX Plus excavator series along with the BS-V Wheel Loaders.

The launchfeatured 5 new excavator models in the 20-ton class, designed to perform acrossdiverse terrains. These machines are builtto serve the construction, mining,irrigation, and infrastructure sectors,further strengthening HD Hyundai’sproduct portfolio in these key segments.

The newlyintroduced BS-V Wheel Loaders, available in the 3- ton HL630I and 5-tonHL650I models, are engineered to deliver high productivity, fuel efficiency, anddurability, making them ideal for material handling applications in mining,quarrying, port, and construction projects. In line with the Government-mandated BS-V emission norms, both models feature robust build quality andadvanced technology to ensure reliability in tough working environments, whileoffering customers higher productivity and lower operating costs. With thisaddition, HD Hyundai expands its portfolio, providing customers with acomprehensive range of advanced and environmentally compliant equipmentsolutions.

The event, held atthe company’s manufacturing plant in Chakan,Pune, was attendedby authorized dealers,customers, media partners, creators, and key stakeholders, markinganother significant milestone in Hyundai’s growth journey in India.

Marking thismilestone, Mr. Cheolgon Choi, Global CEO of HD Hyundai CE, unveiled the SMART XPlus Excavators and the BS- VWheel Loader series.

“Combiningsuperior-quality products with advanced automation will make Hyundai thepreferred choice for customers in the construction, infrastructure, port,mining, and quarry sectors,” he said.

Event highlight:The launch program began with a vibrant Maharashtrian welcome featuringDhol-Tasha and cultural performances, followed by addresses from company leadership and the Global CEO of HDHyundai Construction Equipment, Korea. The highlight of the day was theunveiling of the Smart X Plus series, a customer-inspired innovation built onthe 5X advantage platform.
