Ireda (RenewableEnergy Development Organisation of India Limited) has successfully raised INR2,005.90-crorethrough QIP. Capital was raised by issuing 12.15 crore equity shares at a priceof INR165.14 per share, which includes a premium of INR155.14 per share at aface value of INR10. The issue price of INR165.14 represents a 5.00 per centdiscount on the fixed price of INR173.83 per share.

The QIP issuewas introduced on June 5, 2025 and closed on June 10, 2025. There was an encouragingresponse from various groups of domestic and foreign qualified institutionalbuyers (QIB), including insurance companies, scheduled commercial banks, andforeign portfolio investors. The Board at its meeting held subsequently approvedthe allotment of equity shares to eligible institutional buyers.

QIP receivedbids worth INR2,005.90-crore as against the base issue size of INR1,500-crore, resultingin a subscription of 1.34 times. The capital raised through this successfulissue will further strengthen Ireda's Tier-I capital and total capital adequacyratio (CAR). This will enhance the company’s ability to support the expandingrenewable energy sector in the country.
