Brookfield Asset Management, a leading globalalternative asset manager headquartered in New York, and its affiliates(Brookfield) have announced the sale of 1.6 GW portfolio of solar and windassets in India to Gentari Renewables India (Gentari), structured in twophases. The first phase, comprising the sale of 1.0 GW of operating assets, iscomplete. This marks Brookfield’s first full cycle portfolio monetization inIndia for its Renewable Power and Transition business.
