UltraTech Cement completes 100MW solar energy project in Rajasthan
UltraTechCement Limited has announced the completion of 100MW solar energy project underthe Group Captive scheme in the state of Rajasthan. This is the Company’s firstproject for sourcing power for its captive consumption from the inter-statetransmission network. Power from this project will be available to theCompany’s Units in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Odishaamong others.
The Companynow has a capacity of 612MW of renewable power and 278MW of WHRS.
