Tata Motors signs MoU with Green Energy Mobility Solutions
Tata Motors has signed a Memorandumof Understanding (MoU) with Green Energy Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd (GEMS),the electric mobility arm promoted by Universal Bus Services (UBS) to supply100 state-of-the-art Magna EV intercity coaches. Universal Bus Services is aprominent premium intercity travel brand in South India. Its newly incorporatedEV arm, Green Energy Mobility Solutions, is driving UBS’ transition tosustainable mobility through the deployment of advanced electric buses andcharging infrastructure.
The Tata Magna EV coach is afully-electric intercity bus with up to 300km range on a single charge. Itoffers a 44-seater configuration designed for long-distance comfort. Passengerconvenience and safety is enhanced through ergonomic seats, Electronic BrakingSystem (EBS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).
The MoU was signed in the presenceof Dr. T.R.B. Rajaa, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Government of Tamil Nadu,along with delegates from Government of Tamil Nadu and members of the All OmniBus Owners Association (AOBOA).
