CV majors announce price increase
Ashok Leyland and Tata Motors have announced aprice increase effective January 2025 to help the manufacturers mitigate a partof the input cost impact. While Ashok Leyland has announced an increase of up to3.0 per cent on its entire range of Commercial Vehicles, Tata Motors hasannounced a price increase of 2.0 per cent across its trucks and busesportfolio.
The extent of price increase will vary dependingon model and variant, however all products across the range will be affected. Inflationand higher commodity prices have necessitated this price increase, companyspokespersons have stated.
