LeadingIndian construction company, Aparna Group, has announced a significantexpansion of its fleet with the addition of multiple Potain MCT 85 top-slewingtower cranes. These new cranes are currently playing a vital role in a range ofhigh-rise developments in Hyderabad.

Sinceacquiring its first Potain crane, a Potain MCi 85, in 2012, Aparna Group hassince expanded its fleet to over 40 cranes. Its latest investments are all MCT85 models, which are manufactured locally at the Manitowoc factory in Pune.
The craneswere selected for their powerful performance and compact design. Their designincludes a 1.2 m square mast that enables them to be set up inside elevatorshafts on projects, optimizing space and offering maximum coverage. The MCT 85also features a maximum load capacity of 5.0 t and a jib length of up to 52 m,with a tip load of 1.1 t at full reach, providing exceptional versatility andprecision. Another major benefit is the flat-top design for faster assembly, whichalso helps Aparna Group streamline its construction operations.
