WiproInfrastructure Engineering’s Hydraulics Business enters into a definitiveagreement to acquire Mailhot Industries.
WiproHydraulics, the hydraulic cylinders and components manufacturing business ofWipro Infrastructure Engineering, has announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire MailhotIndustries, a Novacap portfolio company, headquarteredin Quebec, Canada, subject to customary closing conditions includingregulatory approvals. The acquisition also includes JARP Industries, a part ofMailhot Industries and a leader in custom hydraulic and remanufacturedcylinders for segments including utilities, mining, defence, and oil and gas.
Establishedin 1956, Mailhot Industries has become a North American leader in hydrauliccylinder manufacturing. Mailhot Industries specializes in the refuse trucks andsnow removal equipment market and is known for the reliability of theirproducts in demanding work environments.
