Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship of theHinduja Group and the largest supplier of logistics vehicles to the Indian Army,has announced significant order wins, valued at `800-croresin the Defence Sector. The contracts awarded also include the procurement ofthe Field Artillery Tractor (FAT 4x4) and the Gun Towing Vehicle (GTV 6x6).
The FAT 4x4 and GTV 6x6 are specialized vehiclesemployed by the Artillery for towing light and medium guns, respectively. Boththese platforms were prominently featured in the initial positiveindigenization list announced by the Government of India.

Over the course of the next 12 months, AshokLeyland will diligently deliver these cutting-edge vehicles to meet therequirements of the Indian Army.
