Hamm launches new HC and HD Series Compactorsand Rollers for the Indian market.
Hamm, a renowned leader in compactiontechnology, has announced the launch of its new HC and HD Series modelstailored specifically for the India market. These innovative machines, whichinclude the HD 99i, HD 109i, HC 119i, HC 119i D, and HC 139i D, are designed tomeet the latest CEV Stage V emission standards while delivering exceptionalperformance and sustainability.
HCSeries: Advanced Soil Compactors
Just like the previous HC Seriesmodels, the new soil compactors can be operated in an efficient ECO Modereducing up to 20 per cent of fuel consumption. Another benefit in terms ofcompaction quality is the new automatic frequency adjustment. Moreover, the CEVV machines come with lots of features in accordance with the new regulationsand specifications regarding machine safety and comfort like vibrations, noise,roll over protection, comfort, and visibility.
Regarding compaction power, the newsoil compactors are equipped with a new drum ensuring high compaction power, reducedstartup energy and more durability. Also, the new drum goes along with less oilconsumption and offers maintenance points that are easily accessible. The drumcan be equipped with padfoot shells too.
These models offer simple andlanguage-neutral operation, 3-point-articulation, high gradeability, and a highlevel of operator comfort. Another new feature is the option to connect to theJohn Deere Operations Centre.
Just like the previous series of Hammsoil compactors, the new models can be operated in a highly efficient ECO modesaving fuel consumption by over 20 per cent and lowering CO2-emission.
HDSeries: Enhanced Tandem Rollers
The new HD Series tandem rollers – HD99i, and HD 109i – are equipped with advanced features and robust designelements that ensure high compaction power and operator comfort. These newtandem rollers are robust articulated double vibration rollers ideal for roadconstruction applications.
With a drum width of 1.68 m, they aresuitable for various projects including inner-city work, compaction onhighways, airports, and other extensive areas. The operator’s platform providesan open frame design allowing clear visibility of the drums, water-sprinklingsystem, drum edges, and best-in-class Kerb clearances.
These rollers are powered by a robust, fuelefficient water-cooled 3-cylinder John Deere engine compliant with CEV-V. Themodern engine, coupled with the large radiator, air flow system, and enginemanagement, leads to reduced noise emissions and lower fuel consumption.
The three-point articulation in the newtandem rollers guarantees even weight distribution, exceptional directionalstability, remarkable manoeuvrability in curves, and high overturning safety,all contributing to superior compaction results.
