Chiripal Renewables launches Grew Energy Private Limited

Chiripal Group has recently launched Grew Energy Pvt.Ltd. (GREW), a solar component manufacturing company, under ChiripalRenewables. With this, the conglomerate has stepped into the renewable energyspace. This new venture is steadfast in providing world-class solar energysolutions for domestic as well as international markets.

GREW aims to provide indigenous solar components forPV modules and much more at a competitive value. GREW hopes in aiding ‘furtherand faster’ transition to renewable energy in India by accelerating consistentgrowth determined by sustainability, reliability, and responsibility.

Vinay Thadani, Director, Grew Energy Pvt Ltd says,“Over the period of the next four years, the facility will catalyse amanufacturing capacity of 4.0 GW PV Modules, 3.0 GW PV cells, and an impressive300 tonnes/day of Tempered Glass. Initially, the manufacturing will be equippedwith its first 2.0 GW of fully automated unit in the state of Rajasthan, whilethe other manufacturing facilities will branch across India in a phasedmanner.”

The company will commence production work in June2023 and will cover manufacturing of components required for the entire solarenergy ecosystem in next 3-4 years. The company has also ventured into solarinfrastructure installation and has 50 MW of projects under its belt.

Black & Veatch bags IEDCL’s 41MW hybrid project
Black & Veatch has been selected to provide engineering expertise to IL&FS Energy Development Company Limited’s (IEDCL) 41 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV), wind, and battery storage hybrid project in India.
