: Honeywell, NFIL HFO in India partner to manufacture

oneywell and Navin Fluorine InternationalLimited (NFIL), part of the Padmanabh Mafatlal Group, have announced apartnership to manufacture Honeywell’s proprietary Solstice range of hydrofluoroolefins(HFO) in India. Production is scheduled to commence by Q2 2022 at NFIL’smanufacturing facility in Gujarat.

This portfolio of next generation products has noozone depletion potential and a global warming potential (GWP) of 01, therebyhelping customers lower their carbon footprint without sacrificing end-productperformance. These products have various applications, including in blowingagents for foam insulation and refrigeration liquid for chillers.

Honeywell’s partnership with NFIL will enable capacityexpansion for its Solstice range to cater to the growing global demand for environmentallyfriendlier solutions.

Radhesh Welling, Managing Director, NavinFluorine International Limited, said, “As the country’s leading producer ofspecialty fluorochemicals, we are pleased to partner with Honeywell forproduction of Honeywell’s industry-first HFOs at our Dahej facility.
