Nuberg EPC has been awarded a 10 TPD2nd Generation Bio-Ethanol from Biomass plant project on an LSTKbasis in Panipat. The project, owned by Indian Oil Corporation Limited, willproduce Ethanol for fuel blending.
Nuberg EPC will be the single-pointsolution company responsible from concept to commissioning of the project. Theproject is scheduled for an ambitious schedule of 11 months with MechanicalCompletion by June 2022.
The 10 TPD Bio-Ethanol project isbased on technology developed by IOCL’s R&D team and, thus, is a completelymade in India undertaking for Bio-Ethanol.

The government of India’s blended Ethanol fuelroadmap envisages raising pan-India ethanol production capacity from thecurrent 700 to 1500 crore litres. This will enable the phased rollout of E10fuel by April 2022 and the phased rollout of E20 from April 2023 for completeavailability by April 2025
