Epsilon and Beowulf to jointly establish strategicprocessing hub for both natural flake and recycled graphite in Finland; JV tomarket anode material for the lithium-ion batteries in the Nordics and Europe.
EpsilonAdvance Material (EAMPL), a subsidiary of Epsilon Carbon, has signed a MoU withBeowulf Mining plc., to establish a joint venture company in Finland, for the supplyof anode material into Europe. The MoU alsoenables Beowulf’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Oy Fennoscandian Resources AB(Fennoscandian), to build its downstream capability, collaborating with astrong and innovative technology/processing partner.
According to the agreement,Epsilon and Beowulf will jointly develop a strategic processing hub for bothnatural flake and recycled graphite in Finland. The JV, with its Active AnodeMaterial project, targets to be a prominent player in the European Lithium-ionBattery ecosystem.
Commentingon the MoU with Beowulf, Vikram Handa, Managing Director of Epsilon AdvanceMaterials Pvt.
