The construction arm of L&T has securedorders from its prestigious client for two businesses.
The Water and Effluent Treatment Business ofL&T Construction has secured EPC orders from the Rural Water Supply andSanitation Department, Odisha to execute individual Rural Water Supply Projectsin the Kendrapada and Khorda Districts of Odisha. The scope of work includes designand construction of Intake structures, four Water Treatment Plants of a cumulativecapacity of 105 MLD, supplying and laying transmission and distributionpipelines, overhead service reservoirs, a booster pumping station, houseservice connections, and associated electromechanical and instrumentation worksincluding measuring the input and output of the quantity and quality of water ateach level.
The projects will provide drinking water to12.28 Lakh people across 780 villages in Kendrapada and Khorda Districts ofOdisha.
The business has also secured a repeat orderfrom the Water Resources Department of Odisha to construct an intake structureand pressure main along the right bank of Bargarh Main Canal of the GangadharMehar Lift Irrigation Project in Bijepur, Odisha on EPC-TurnKey basis. Thescope includes design and construction of an intake structure, pump house,pressure main of length 34 Km and associated electromechanical andinstrumentation works.
The factories arm of Buildings and FactoriesBusiness has secured an order from a leading Cement manufacturer in India toconstruct a 10,000 TPD Integrated Cement Plant in Pali, Rajasthan. The scopeinvolves Civil, Mechanical and Equipment Installation works.
