Trimble has introduced the latest versions of itsTekla® software solutions forconstructible Building Information Modelling (BIM), structural engineering, andsteel fabrication management — TeklaStructures 2021, Tekla Structural Designer 2021, Tekla Tedds 2021, andTeklaPowerFab 2021. The new Tekla software features and enhancements continueto power data-driven, collaborative and connected workflows across all projectphases.

Tekla Structures 2021 introduces three new subscriptionoptions, which can reduce the upfront investment and provide flexibility tobalance license needs with an annual subscription of the software solutions. Withflexible subscription options, users can choose the appropriate TeklaStructures subscription based on their needs:

• Carbon: For viewing models and collaborating with projectstakeholders.

• Graphite: For creating constructible, intelligent BIMand structural documentation.

• Diamond: For design, detailing and fabrication.

A newcarbon calculator provides the ability to understand a structure’s embodiedcarbon impact during design and compare alternative schemes to identify themost effective, sustainable, and affordable option.

Tekla Tedds 2021 structural analysis and designcalculation software offers new and improved calculations, including baseplate, precast hollow core slab, concrete foundation, and timber racking loads,to satisfy multiple design codes.
