Vikas Bajaj takes over as the new President for AIFI
Yash JinendraMunot takes appointed the youngest Vice President of AIFI.

AIFI (Association of IndianForging Industry), the General Body of the Indian Forging Industry in India hasElected Vikas Bajaj as the new Presidentfor the term 2020–2022. He takes over from the outgoing President, S.Muralishankar, who held the position from 2017 to 2020. Along with Bajaj, Yash Jinendra Munot was elected asthe Vice President of AIFI.
He is theyoungest Vice President appointed at the AIFI.

Prior to this, Bajaj wasthe Vice President - AIFI. In his present role, he will be responsible forstrengthening the member base, driving strategic alliances, and representingAIFI with various government bodies and other stakeholders. He has over 27years of comprehensive and rich professional experience in managing all aspectsof general management, strategic management, and business leadership.

Bajaj is ProductionEngineer (B.E.) and has also done his MBA in Operational Management from the ManagementDevelopment Institute, Gurugram. In his personal capacity, Bajaj is ManagingDirector and CEO of M/s Bajaj Motors Limited. He manages the operations of the Companyand is also associated in the operations and activities of Microtek Forgings (AUnit of Bajaj Motors Ltd.).

Yash Munot, whostarted the forging business as a First Generation entrepreneur in 2005, iscurrently the CEO at Varsha Forgings and Managing Director at KCTR VarshaAutomotive. He spearheaded and pioneered the launch of sealed ball jointtechnology in India.

Yash got his BA (Hons)in finance and marketing from Regents Business School of London followed by aleadership Degree from London Business School. He is now part of EO, a wellreputed organization for entrepreneurs.
