Reshaping workplaces to be gender-inclusive

KONE Elevator India once again ranked in the list of 100 Best Companies forWomen.

 

This is the fifth successive time KONE Elevator India has been honoured.

  • Enters the 100 Best Companies for Women in India – ‘Hall ofFame’.

 

KONE Elevator India, a fully-owned subsidiary of KONE Corporation,has emerged as the 100 Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) 2020, ranked byAVTAR Group and Working Mother Media, for the fifth successive time making itto the ‘Hall of Fame’. This award is recognition of KONE Elevator India’scommitment to building sustainable careers for women.

Commenting on the recognition, Amit Gossain, MD, KONE ElevatorIndia stated, “This recognition is a testimony of the company’s pioneeringinitiatives that help women build a successful career and offer them a wellchalked out growth path. We will continue to create an atmosphere of inclusionand gender equality and we hope that this will encourage more women to join andstay on in our team.”

KONE has introduced several key initiatives that help build awomen-inclusive workplace including mentorship and wellbeing programs, growthopportunities, amongst many others to ensure work-life balance for them. Moreimportantly, the women already working with KONE India have been associated formore than decades, and proudly advocate inclusion as equal opportunity in theorganisation.

Right from 2016, when the list was first introduced to access andencourage workplace gender equality in India, KONE India has been selectedevery year.

Black & Veatch bags IEDCL’s 41MW hybrid project
