I believe there is a generalreluctance in the marketplace – reluctance to put in the money and move aheadwith projects. Some of it could be justified, but the government is doing itsbit to ensure that the sentiments become positive soon.

Whichbold actions should you urgently take to propel change and stay ahead ofcompetition?

We must look at change in a broadersense. Just changing one thing will not alter the dynamics. As a company, wehave used the year 2019 to expand our footprint in India. We have just set up anew manufacturing facility, which will go live with trading activity by January2020, and into manufacturing by May 2020. This is our contribution to the ‘Makein India’ initiative and should help us strengthen our position in themarketplace.

Arethere any initiatives that you are undertaking at your company to cater to thedemand from hybrid or electric equipments?

We work with several manufacturerson Electric vehicles – Off Highway and Marine. Our belief is that theinfrastructure around needs to be established first. The equipment willautomatically then move to cleaner fuels. Vehicle Displays and Controllers arewhat we provide to the electric and hybrid vehicles.
