GHH India, with its miningcontracting company GHH BUMI Mining Service, has received the Best PerformingBusiness Partner Award.

GHH India, with its miningcontracting subsidiary, GHH Bumi Mining Service, was recently awarded ‘BestPerforming Business Partner’ by Vedanta Group/Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL). Theaward was announced in the presence of Founder and Executive Chairman, Anil Agarwal,Vedanta Resources Limited, Sunil Duggal, Vedanta Group CEO, and Arun Misra,CEO, Hindustan Zinc Limited along with their other Executive team. GHH Bumi hasbeen presented the award based on excellent performance involving all miningcontract activities like safety, production, asset optimization.

GHH BUMI Mining Service wasestablished late last year. Since January 2021, GHH BUMI has been responsiblefor production and mine development with more than 350 employees at the ZawarMala mine, where it has been doing contract mining. For this purpose, thecompany has access to more than 20 load haul dumpers (LHDs), dump trucks, anddrilling rigs from the GHH Group.

Says Dr. Jan Petzold, CEO ofGHH Group, “With this award, we as GHH Group see ourselves confirmed in ourefforts as a reliable business partner for HZL. A cooperation that startedalmost four years ago with the supply of mining machinery and has resulted inbeing awarded as Mining Contractor and OEM. This is a special incentive to beable to conclude the second MDO contract with HZL, which is currently inpreparation.”

Dr. Petzold also thanked histeam involved, Henry Landman, GM of GHH Bumi and Rajeshwar Singh, MD of GHHIndia, for their hard work and efforts in achieving this award.
