Trane Technologies named one of the World’s Best Employers by Forbes

TraneTechnologies plc. has been named to the Forbes list of the World’s BestEmployers 2021. To compile the list, Forbes teamed up with market researchcompany, Statista, and surveyed 150,000 workers from around the world.

Thoseworkers were first asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employersto their family and friends. They were also asked to rate other companies intheir industry on aspects like image, economic footprint, talent development,gender equality and social responsibility. The 750 companies with the highesttotal scores made the list.

With its2030 Sustainability Commitments, Trane Technologies is changing every facet ofits business to focus on solving some of the world’s biggest sustainabilitychallenges. These commitments include The Gigaton Challenge, which is a pledgeto reduce customer greenhouse gas emissions by one gigaton (2.0 per cent of theworld’s annual emissions).

TraneTechnologies is also uplifting its culture and communities through “Opportunityfor All.” This pledge commits to achieving gender parity in leadership,workforce diversity reflective of its communities, and community initiativesthat support equitable education and pathways to green and Science, Technology,Engineering and Math (STEM) careers.

Black & Veatch bags IEDCL’s 41MW hybrid project
Black & Veatch has been selected to provide engineering expertise to IL&FS Energy Development Company Limited’s (IEDCL) 41 megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic (PV), wind, and battery storage hybrid project in India.
