ONGC selects HPE GreenLake

India’s largest oil and natural gas companyexpands its usage of the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform improve business processes.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise has announced that Oiland Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), the largest crude oil and naturalgas company in India, has selected the HPE GreenLake edge-to-cloud platformto run its advanced SAP S/4HANA® mission-critical environment to improve performance,accelerate digitization, reduce transaction processing, and gain betterinsights from improved analytics. ONGC, which boasts one of the largest SAP® implementationsin the world, chose to host the SAP S/4HANA workloads on the HPE GreenLakeplatform in ONGC data centres, due to strategic compliance, performance, andsecurity priorities.

“At ONGC, we are driving improved processefficiency through information consolidation without compromising data security,”said H.P Singh, Chief Information Officer at ONGC. “HPE has been a trustedpartner for a number of years, and through its strong partnership with SAP, weknew they had a deep understanding of our requirements.”
