EPC&I on how to meet the growing market needs, the company is reorganising themselves into a regional structure while speaking briefly on the new products launched.
As an established leading player in the Construction Equipment market in the country, what is your opinion on Infrastructure development activity in the country?
In recent years, India has witnessed massive investment in the construction industry from both public and private sector. Government is investing in infrastructural development for various kinds of project which has led to increase in demand of construction equipment.
Government sector is working upon infrastructural development with proactive approach to shape the future of building the best facilities in India which will lead to efficient economic growth and development.
With the strong demand emanating from the government backed infrastructure projects, the segment is poised to register a remarkable compound annual growth rate. Big investments are planned for expanding country’s energy and water supply; roads, rail networks, ports, airports, etc., are in planning to be built soon.
While some research analysts and economists claim that it is skewed more towards road building activity, development of power plants, ports, airports, etc continue to lag behind. Do you subscribe to this view?
Macons has always believed in innovation, and so has been able to design equipments as per the requirement of the customers. We have introduced our existing products with new innovations and techniques.
We now catering to many allied industries apart from the infrastructure sector like power, roads, bridges, airports, canal, dam, refinery, city infrastructure, steel plant, nuclear power, hydro power, thermal power, metro rail, multi storage building, transmission foundation, road divider, RCC Hume Pipe, ports and jetty, windmill foundation, Ready Mix, IT parks, hospitals, mall and mega mall, university and college, chemical plants, hotel, industries, telecommunications, etc.

Many manufacturers in the country are making innovative strides to modify their existing lines to enable them to deliver higher production outputs, improving the productivity and, simultaneously, offering a good RoI. What are your plans on this front?
At Macons, we always strive to cater to the latest technology. As on today, with rapid change in construction techniques and growth in high rise building construction activities, the concrete equipment, too, needs a paradigm shift. To cater to these construction equipment needs, we have introduced our existing products with new innovations and techniques.
We recently introduced our high capacity concrete batching / mixing plant’s range MAC – 112 and MAC-135 with twin shaft mixer. This range will feature plants with more advantage. We have also introduced high capacity horizontal concrete batching / mixing plant‘s range MCP-BIN-90 to MCP-BIN-240.
Lastly, any new products and services expected to be launched at bc India 2016? We will be displaying our high capacity concrete batching/mixing plant, MAC-135, at Bauma and with it we are displaying our existing products, i.e., mobile and stationary concrete batching mixing plant, self loading transit mixer, kerbing machine.
