Ashok Leyland launches Dual Tyre Lift Axle Truck – AVTR 3120

First and only manufacturer in the country tohave full range of DTLA Trucks

Ashok Leyland, flagship of the Hinduja Group andIndia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, recently launched the 3-axle6x2 Dual Tyre Lift Axle (DTLA) truck – AVTR 3120. With the launch of AVTR 3120,Ashok Leyland becomes the first and only player in the country to have a fullrange of dual tyre lift axle (DTLA) truck range with 31T, 40.5T, and 47.5T GVWnodes.

This new product will operate at 31 Tonne withthe lift axle down (and take more load than conventional 6x2 trucks), and at18.5 Tonnes with the lift axle up (lower fuel and operating cost similar to4x2) during light load/partial load/return empty. It will, thus, offer anexcellent operational flexibility to customers to choose the option based ontheir load, offering best-in-class Total Cost of Operation (TCO) benefits.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Saraswat, Head –M&HCV, Ashok Leyland, said, “With the launch of the AVTR 3120 with DualTyre Lift Axle (DTLA), we become the only OEM having this customer-centric andfuel-saving DLTA technology for the entire range. We have launched the AVTR3120 to plug the gaps in the Dual Tyre Lift Axle portfolio.”


AVTR3120 – 6x2 Truck:

-         Built on the latest AVTR modular truckplatform, offering flexibility of multiple cab and feature options.

-         Powered by Ashok Leyland’s 200HP enginewith iGen6 technology, which delivers better fluid efficiency.

-         Available in cowl and three cabinoptions: N Cab, U cab, and M cab.

-         Loading span options ranging from 24’ to32’.

-         N cabin offers ultimate driving experiencewith Suspended cab with dampers, Suspended driver seat, Anti-roll bar in thefront, excellent storage spaces, Full Metal Front Fascia, Music system, AC andHVAC options.

-         It comes bundled with digital solutionslike i-Alert (advanced telematics), remote diagnostics – supported by 24x7customer assistance Uptime Solution Centre and Service Mandi network.
