Eicher Trucks and Buses, part of VE CommercialVehicles Limited, has completed the 315th vehicle delivery to KNR ConstructionsLtd. The company bagged a massive order of 130 vehicles from the Hyderabad-basedinfrastructure major. The vehicles have been commissioned in prestigious megaNHAI Expressway Projects across South India.
Says Gagandeep Singh Gandhok, Senior VicePresident – HD Trucks Business, VE Commercial Vehicles, “This order is a testamentto our strong product portfolio, especially tailor made for the nicheinfrastructural segment.”
On the partnership, Shri K Narasimha Reddy, Founderand MD, KNRCL said, “In our fleet of 1000+ tippers, Eicher constitute of good33 per cent share i.e. 300+ vehicles. Eicher team supported us well in both theprestigious lift irrigation projects of Kaleswaram and Palamuru Rangareddy. Continuingthis trust, we are happy to partner with VE Commercial Vehicles again and add130+ Eicher tippers in our fleet for our new road construction projects inTamilnadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.”
Alongside, the two partners have adopted theSite Support Model mastered by Volvo Trucks (which are exclusively distributedand serviced in India by VECV), which has completely relieved KNR ConstructionsLtd of the hassle of maintenance.
