Vipin Sondhi, Managing Director and CEO, AshokLeyland has offered to step down from his present role with effect from 31December 2021, for personal and family commitments in the post COVID pandemicsituation, that require his extended presence in New Delhi. To assist inbusiness continuity and a seamless transition, the Board has requested DheerajHinduja to step in as Executive Chairman with immediate effect. The Board willmeet shortly to decide on the further course of action for identifying the nextCEO and MD.
