Metso Outoteclaunches global training certification program for services professionals.

Metso Outotec has started an integratedcompetence development programme, called Services Certification Programme,which is targeted for the company’s service employees working on site. MetsoOutotec has an extensive footprint of over 3000 Field Services professionalsand additional support resources close tocustomer operations. The certification training program hasbeen designed to validate and develop their employees’ knowledge and skills atservicing their respective products and technologies.

The Services Certification Program consistsof three distinct and progressive training levels that allow personnel todevelop their skills and apply them in on-the-job situations as well asvalidating existing work experience. All service personnel must achieve a License to Service certificatebefore starting the certification program to ensure a shared understanding ofwhat ‘service’ means within Metso Outotec and to clarify the standardsincluding safety all are expected to hold themselves to in their work.

The Services Certification Program isdesigned and managed by Metso Outotec Training Academy organization, whichmanages all technical and product trainings globally in the company.
