PALFINGER’s World Tour proves to be a success

Withalmost 6,000 livestream visitors and 1,175 active users, PALFINGER’s World Tour– a digital event held at PALFINGER World in Lengau from October 13thto 15th – attracted lively participation and strong interest. “Itshows that our digital tools are greatly appreciated and well received by ourbusiness partners and customers,” reports PALFINGER’s CEO, Andreas Klauser.

Overthree days, registered users from Europe, Russia and Asia grabbed theopportunity to gain invaluable information directly from PALFINGER experts, tocomment on what was happening, and to provide ratings. "This shows thatthere is a great willingness and need to touch base, make contacts and swapinformation online. Above all, it shows that there is great necessity fordirect interaction. With our PALFINGER World Tour, we have succeeded in meetingthis need,” says Klauser.


ThePALFINGER World Tour showed the many strengths of the company. In the run-up tothe event, customers and business partners worldwide were informed in advanceusing a landing page and targeted invitations. During this phase, around200,000 people from 175 countries used the website.


Just forthe record, countries like Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Austria,and the USA generated the most clicks, reflecting their strong market presence.Also, greatly represented and among the top 30 were customers fromup-and-coming markets, such as those from countries in Central Asia, the Arabregion, and the Far East. “We succeeded in attractinginterest and transforming it into active participation,” says Klauser.


With itstagline ‘Challenge Accepted’, the PALFINGER World Tour focused on the obstaclesfacing the industry and its customers and presented real solutions. In additionto addressing the effects of the COVID-19 crisis, special emphasis was put onthe opportunities provided by digital transformation. "The PALFINGER WorldTour perfectly reflected this transformation and has shown its importance as aninvaluable platform for the exchange of ideas with and between our customersand business partners,” says Klauser.


Thecompany has intimated that they would be continuing with a similar event in2021 as well.
