Terex is celebrating 10 years of successful operations in India. And, the company has announced that it would invest in the expansion of its 45-acre site in Hosur, Tamil Nadu facility to drive the company’s next growth phase in India. Terex started its Hosur operations in 2009, employing close to 80 employees. Ten years later, the company has more than 300 employees and enjoys a strong market presence through its various brands — Powerscreen, Terex Finlay, Terex Minerals Processing Systems (MPS), and Terex Washing Systems (TWS) — products of which are working for several major and strategic infrastructure projects across India.

The new expansion plans at the Hosur plant include addition of a new shot blasting and paint shop facility, a new machine shop, and other infrastructure enhancements, which will allow for production ramp up and improved efficiency. In addition, Terex aims to steadily accelerate its growth by introducing new product lines to the market, expanding its Customer and Product Support Team to improve geographic reach, and increase capacity to provide technical support across India.
