Manotou offers some of the most advanced and operator friendly Backhoe Loaders, with highly advanced features.


Manitou offers the TLB 740S (76hp) and TLB 844S (90hp) machines in the backhoe loader segment. The company also has the TLB 844 (90hp), which is a centre mount backhoe loader that gives more stability in unlevelled areas.

Performance and productivity
Manitou Backhoe Loaders are powered by globally proven Kirloskar engines, which make this machine work in possibly any application. “Our machines are built with keeping few points in focus, such as high productivity, low maintenance cost, and with customer safety and comfort,” says Hafeez Khan, Managing Director, Manitou South Asia Pvt. How this is done? 
Strong Structure: Manitou’s Backhoe Loaders are built with high tensile strength steel. Wide use of steel casting and forgings in critical components, such as the chassis, boom, dipper and loader arm improves life of components. “This gives low breakdown time resulting in higher productivity,” says Khan.
Engine, Axle, and Transmission: Globally proven Kirloskar engine with its advanced technology gives maximum output while consuming less fuel. Says Khan, “So, our Carraro-made Axle and Transmission makes Manitou Backhoe Loaders more robust and fuel efficient.”
Hydraulics: “Our strong hydraulic cylinders give best breakout force in the industry,” adds Khan. “High abrasion resistant and split hoses with common adapter reduces replacement and maintenance cost.”
Comfort: With machine productivity and efficiency, the company manages to keep operator comfort as their prime focus. With changing mindsets and current requirement, the company has provided for an Air-conditioner as an option in their 90 hp BHLs. “Our machines come with more comfortable and adjustable seat and adjustable steering wheel as well,” informs Khan. “For entertainment, we have a radio FM and speaker, and a mobile charger installed in our improved cabin.”
Safety: For safety, Manotou have compliance with ROBS and FOBS. Other basic features are Seat belt, machine backup alarm and, most importantly, GPS, which can track the machine anywhere, anytime. “Our BHL comes with some of the best user-friendly and maintenance-friendly features,” says Khan. “The loader-lock in our BHL is attached with the loader arm, which is actually easy to apply, whereas in many competition machines, this lock comes loose where there is high chance of losing the lock. Then, our boom-lock is again easy to apply as it can be operated from the cabin itself. The operator doesn't need to come down and apply the lock; he can simply close the boom and pulling boom-lock wire applies your lock.”
Aesthetics: The company is now offering backhoe loaders in two attractive colours – Red and Yellow. Red, believes Khan, gives a robust look to their machines along with making it more eye catching.
